Backstory: Rhodonites were originally created for the purpose of protecting gems and pairing with agates on missions, but when Pink Diamond noticed how gullible and immature they were, (because of the number of them turning on her) their production was stopped. Rhodonite was on a mission with a Agate gem when she was too easily convinced to join the famed rebellion.
